Police arrested one of two suspects in a gunpoint robbery that began at the Jack-in-the-Box restaurant in Wahiawa.

Police said the suspects, a 26-year-old homeless man, and a man in his 30s, were riding in a stolen vehicle when they saw a 36-year-old man walking through the Jack-in-the-Box parking lot.

The two suspects befriended the man and insisted he go for a ride, police said.

The two men drove the victim to a secluded area, where the 26-year-old allegedly pointed a handgun at him and demanded money, police said.

The victim turned over his cash, wallet and car keys at about 11:10 p.m. Saturday, police said.

Police said a good Samaritan called police, who took him to where his car had been parked.

Police issued an all-points bulletin, and located the two stolen vehicles and the two suspects, police said.

Police arrested the 26-year-old man, but the other man fled.

They also recovered two stolen vehicles and a firearm.
