Police were looking for a woman observed shoplifting and for a man who allegedly used a gun to help the woman get away from store security yesterday in Kapolei.

The incident happened at about 10:55 a.m. at a retail store in Kapolei. Police said loss prevention agents saw a 34-year-old woman shoplift items and detained her outside the store. That's when a 34-year-old man pulled up in a car and pointed a gun at the store security officers, police said.

The man and woman drove away. The security officers were able to get a license plate number and police say they know who they are looking for.
