Police release sketches, ask for help finding suspects in teacher's sexual assault

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding two men involved in Monday’s sexual assault of a teacher at Wahiawa Elementary School and have released sketches of the suspects.

One man approached the 59-year-old woman in her classroom and sexually assaulted her as she prepared for the start of the school day about 6:30 a.m., police said.

A second man was seen standing outside the classroom during the attack.

The first man struck the woman several times before fleeing and also took a laptop, police said.

Police have opened a first-degree sexual assault, first-degree robbery, and kidnapping case.

The woman was in stable condition after the attack.

Police described the first man as in his 30s, 5 feet 7 to 5-8, with curly, black medium-length hair. He has brown eyes and a tattoo of an unknown design on his right arm. He was wearing a blue shirt and long denim pants.

The second man was wearing a long-sleeve, dark green shirt.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME from a cell phone.
