Suspect charged in stabbing over drinking money

A 27-year-old Aiea man who allegedly stabbed another man during an argument over drinking money was charged with attempted second degree murder Thursday night.

BK Bisek was being held on $30,000 bail and was to appear in court today to face the charge.

Police said a 52-year-old man, had bought some alcohol and had been drinking with Bisek, whom police described as a "recent acquaintance," at Makalapa Park at about 11 p.m. Tuesday.

When the alcohol ran out, Bisek demanded that the victim buy more. The victim was stabbed with a knife after he told Bisek he had no more money to buy alcohol, police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital with one puncture wound and several cuts, police said. His condition was not immediately known.
