Honolulu police are looking for three suspects in an alleged kidnapping and terroristic threatening case in Kailua Tuesday night.

Police said a 19-year-old man was forced into a vehicle by two men and a woman and held at gunpoint while the suspects drove away.

The victim struggled with his kidnappers and the vehicle crashed into a sign shortly after 10 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

The 19-year-old man was able escape from the vehicle and the three suspects, described as in their 20s, drove away.

Police said they believe they know the identity of one of the male suspects. Police said the suspects could also be charged with leaving the scene of an accident.

Detectives did not release specific information on where the incident happened.
