Tsunami reached 77 feet in Iwate on March 11

Tsunami waves may have reached 23.6 meters (77 feet) when the March 11 earthquake struck Ofunato city in Iwate Prefecture, according to a study by Japan’s Port and Airport Research Institute released today.
