Wie tied for fifth in Arkansas

Honolulu's Michelle Wie opened with a 3-under 68 today to trail first-day leader Morgan Pressel(66) by two shots at the P&G NW Arkansas Championship in Rogers, Ark.
The Punahou School graduate carded four birdies and one bogey on the par-71 Pinnacle Country Club course. She hit nine of 14 fairways and 16 of 18 greens in regulation. She needed 31 putts and aveaged 266.5 yards off the tee.
Wie is ranked No. 7 in the world and 10th on the money list.
