A 21-year-old woman was arrested for attempted murder early this morning after another woman she allegedly tried to run over several days ago spotted her in the parking lot of the Food Pantry in Waikiki, police said.

A woman, 22, reported on Aug. 6 that the suspect tried to run her over with her car in Waikiki and, at one point, had her on the hood of the vehicle, police said.

Shortly before 3 a.m. today, the victim spotted the suspect in the Food Pantry parking lot, flagged down police, and had her arrested.

The suspect is being held pending charges.
