» About 5,000 city employees face furloughs of two days a month beginning July 2 under the city's furlough plan. A Page A1 article yesterday erroneously stated that the city's total work force of 10,000 employees faced furloughs. The furloughed workers include many, but not all, of the city workers in the Hawaii Government Employees Association and United Public Workers unions. The online edition has been corrected.
» The lawyer for a homeless woman charged with terroristic threatening has argued that the state cannot force her to take medication, but the court has yet to address the issue.
