» The 61-year-old Maui man who died in a one-car accident Thursday was Bernardo Ragamat. His first name was misspelled in a Page A22 story Friday.

» Auditions for Hawaii Pacific University's production of "The Importance of Being Earnest" at the Paul and Vi Loo Theatre will be held at 7 p.m. Friday and at noon Jan. 28-29 at the school's Kaneohe campus, 45-045 Kamehameha Highway. A wrong date appeared on Page 11 in the TGIF stage calendar Friday.

Clarification

A recipe for pickled watermelon rind on Page D8 Wednesday did not make it clear that the green skin should be removed from the rind.
