» Kohala High School met Adequate Yearly Prog­ress benchmarks this year under the federal No Child Left Behind law, which requires schools to meet rising goals for the percentage of students demonstrating proficiency in reading and math. A Page A1 story Wednesday said no Hawaii high schools had met AYP.

» If she wins in November, U.S. Rep. Mazie Hirono would be the second woman of color elected to the U.S. Senate, not the third as was reported in a Page B1 story Tuesday.
