» The Accounting Services Branch is one of the state Department of Education branches overseen by Chief Financial Officer Amy Kunz. It was misidentified as the County Services Branch in the "Name in the News" interview on Page A18 Friday.

» Matt Matsunaga, attorney for the distributor of Products Direct Sweepstakes machines, said the devices feature games of chance. The odds are predetermined but the outcomes are not, he said. A Page B2 story Friday reported he said the outcomes are predetermined.

» In an OIA Blue girls volleyball match on Thursday, Moana­lua beat Kahuku 25-15, 21-25, 15-9. Volleyball results on Page C10 listed Kahuku as the winner.


» Georgette Yaindl, a former attorney for UPW, could not be reached for comment for a Page A1 article Thursday on her complaint against the union. The information about her complaint came from a public document filed with the Federal Election Commission.
