» A Wednesday editorial on Page A11 contained inaccuracies: Senate Bill 192 relating to prostitution creates a range of possible fines between $500 and $1,000 for solicitation not involving a minor. It doesn't double the fine from $500 to $1,000. Also, the bill criminalizes solicitation of a minor regardless of the perpetrator's knowledge of the minor's age; the so-called "mistake of age" defense is inapplicable, says Kris Coffield, formerly with IMUAlliance, whose last name was misspelled.
