Yoshio "Five Buck" Akamichi, 86, of San Jose, Calif., a fruit processing supervisor and an Army veteran, died in San Jose. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Miriam, sons Lee and Kim, brothers Walter Manriki and Richard Akamichi, sisters Ayako Okamitsu and Itsuko Okamoto, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. No services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
