She is survived by sons George, Stephen and Michael Kaualoku; daughters Marvid-Ann Schneider, Dayna Czarnecki, Mary-Beth Rank, Amy Canejo and Loralee MacDonald; brothers Paul, Edwin and Samuel Chung-Hoon; sisters Puanani Chung-Hoon, Betty Townsend, Ernestine Kenny and Naomi Campbell; 24 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Walter Edward Chung, 74, of Hanalei, Kauai, an Army veteran who served in the Korean and Vietnam wars, and a recipient of the Bronze Star, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was also a retiree from the Kauai County Public Works at Hanalei Base Yard. He was born in Waimea, Kauai. He is survived by son Vance A., daughters Kathryn F. Violette and Pamela E. Bodlovick, brother Dexter, sisters Winona Hussey and Kuulei Augustine, caregiver Maile Bryan, numerous stepsisters and stepbrothers, and six grandchildren.
