A 19-year-old Aiea man who allegedly hit a security officer and took video games from a Pearlridge store last month was arrested Tuesday.
Police said the suspect took the games on July 31 and was stopped by a 24-year-old security officer. The suspect allegedly hit the officer and fled.
Police arrested a 43-year-old man in connection with a June incident involving threats with a gun at a Mililani home.
The suspect was arrested at his Mililani residence Tuesday after an investigation of the June 25 incident in which a 19-year-old man was threatened with a gun at about 11:30 p.m. Police said the suspect and a 20-year-old man drove to the victim's house and the older man pointed a gun at him while the younger suspect made threats. The 20-year-old man was not arrested.
The Hawaii State Hospital told police that 26-year-old man fled from a substance abuse counselor Tuesday during an outing in Chinatown. Police are looking for the escapee. The incident was reported at about 5:30 p.m.
