2 men struck by car after argument

Police are looking for the driver who reportedly struck two men with his vehicle Wednesday night in Kalihi.

One victim, 24, sustained back and leg injuries, while the other, 20, had bruises on his face and said he had been knocked unconscious.

The men told police they had been playing basketball with the suspect at a minipark on Beckley Street when an argument began at about 7 p.m. The two left the area to avoid a confrontation and were walking on the sidewalk when they were struck, police said.

The incident was reported at 1:30 a.m. Thursday, police said.
