The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council has awarded scholarships to the following high school students:

Eddie Tangen Award, $300: Marissa Okazaki of Mililani. Paul S. Honda Scholarships, $1,000 each: In-Jung Cho of Kaiser, Hisa Hashisaka of Mid-Pacific Institute, Lorin Gill of Roosevelt, Richard Gima of Lanai. PAAC Academic Scholarship, $500: Chelsea Maja of Sacred Hearts Academy. Freeman Foundation Summer Study Tour Scholarships to Vietnam, $4,000 each: Peter Borcena, Sairel Labasan and Michelle Regis of Farrington; Jasmine Brown, Haley Kandler and Quincy Krstic of Kaiser; Chelsea Cagaoan and Gabriella Gualano of UH Lab; Peter Cheng and Jason Huynh of Roosevelt; Mark Corre of Lanai; John Dinong, Heidi Neidhardt and Christina Rodriguez of Waianae; Jamal Garcia and Donna Paz of Maui; Codi Kelii and Katie Pham of Campbell; Brett Tanonaka of Aiea; Angelica Tran of Waimea; and Sarah Week of Kealakehe. Jean Rolles Travel Scholarship, $5,500: Dakota Walker of Kau. Freeman Foundation Travel Scholarship, $5,500: Veronica Wong of Sacred Hearts. Frank Boas Travel Scholarship, $4,200: Ryan Mandado of Farrington.
