Elks Club event to celebrate life of Steve Ozark

A celebration of life for Steve Ozark, Hawaii’s "Caterer to the Stars" for more than 30 years, will be held at 5 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Honolulu Elks Club, 2933 Kalakaua Ave.

Entertainment producer Ron Gibson said the event is for Ozark’s "friends from the entertainment world, the culinary industry and the island boating scene to share their memories." Scattering of ashes at sea will follow at sunset.

Ozark, 63, died July 24 of pancreatic cancer in Nashville, Tenn.
