    State. Sen. Russell Ruderman, owner of Island Naturals in Pahoa, is preparing as best as he can for the approaching lava flow. The state senator has arranged for an industrial generator rental, while his suppliers will continue to service him via the evacuation routes, as Island Naturals might stand to be the only grocery store in the affected area. While he is hoping his store will be spared, he plans to have a big sale before closing his doors about five days ahead of the flow’s anticipated arrival.
