The 25th Infantry Division is conducting exercise Lightning Forge, the largest training exercise on Oahu, consisting of more than 5,000 soldiers. These Schofield soldiers were just dropped off by helicopters from 5 Blackhawk helicopters and a Chinook at the Bellows Beach training area. The soldiers advance to a simulated village inhabited by an opposing hostile force. This village is in a fictitious island nation. The soldiers use blanks that simulate real live fire when taking over the village.
