Rare, ancient lion dance part of Dance Mandal

<p>Among the performances will be "a rare and ancient lion dance brought out from the secrecy of the temples of the Kathmandu Valley" on Aug. 28, the release said. Founded in 1996, Dance Mandal is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Charya Nritya, which means "dance as a spiritual discipline," a news release said.</p>
