Evidence that cell phones cause cancer is sketchy

~~<p>Data suggest that it may be dangerous to hold a cellphone while driving, but does using a cellphone cause cancer?</p>
<p>Cellphones do not generate ionizing radiation like X-rays or UV. Their electromagnetic fields are too weak to break bonds between molecules, the only known way that radiation causes cancer. The fields are more than 1,000 times weaker than the UV photons that penetrate the atmosphere, about as much power as a 1-watt flashlight.</p>
