Healthier new ramen hits market -- but not in U.S.

~~<p>Nong Shim, the largest and one of the most popular Korean ramen manufacturers, recently announced a new product &mdash; Shin Ramen Black, a healthier version of the traditional comfort food that sells for twice as much as other ramen varieties. When I tried Shin Ramen Black, I found that although the noodles had the same texture I was used to, the soup base was much thicker with a heavier beef broth taste that reminded me more of Korean oxtail soup. The new ramen is not yet available in the U.S.</p>
