Corky’s Felt cartoon stars on ‘Deep Throat’ book cover

~~<p>CORKY TRINIDAD, the legendary editorial cartoonist for the Star-Bulletin who died in 2009, is still reaching readers with his mighty pen. Corky&rsquo;s cartoon of Mark Felt, the shadowy FBI official who revealed himself as the Watergate source &ldquo;Deep Throat&rdquo; in 2005, is the jacket cover art on the newly released book <a span="" style="color: #0000FF;" href="http://bit.ly/HltY9y" target="_blank">&ldquo;Leak: Why Mark Felt Became Deep Throat,&rdquo;</a> by Max Holland (University Press of Kansas). The cartoon depicts Felt with a keyhole-shaped mouth holding a key in his hand, readying to unlock his identity. It was Corky&rsquo;s way of acknowledging that the most famous whistleblower in U.S. history only talked publicly when he was good and ready.
