Soft and saturated ground stalls Moanalua Road work

About a month ago, Kokua Line reported that the road surfacing would take place and be completed approximately by May. But all the road machines have left the area and there appears to be no work being done. This particular stretch is heavily used, with thousands of vehicles traveling it daily.</p>
<p>Answer: &ldquo;Unforeseen conditions,&rdquo; namely saturated ground conditions beneath existing pavement, have delayed work on Kaahumanu Street and Moanalua Road.</p>
