On one hand, medical practices across the state are striving to shift to electronic health records. On the other hand, they are working hard to respond to new requirements for meaningful use of these systems as directed by Medicare. HMSA has also rolled out its own set of requirements for practices to comply with its latest initiative; the patient-centered medical home.
