Apple waiting for chance to take over

~~<p>Manoa chancellor designate Tom Apple is scheduled to begin work at the University of Hawaii on June 18, but when he will start calling the shots of the school's membership in the Mountain West and Big West Conferences is undecided.</p>
<p>UH president M.R.C. Greenwood, who has represented the Warriors on the MWC Board of Directors since 2011, said, "It is a question of timing with what's going on right now in the conferences, what would be best and what would be the right time."</p>
