HART chief wants more rail seats, fare gates

~~<p>The head of the Honolulu rail project says he wants to adjust the design of the train cars to add more seats, and plans to install fare gates at all stations in a reversal of two previous decisions by the city in planning the $5.26 billion rail system.</p>
<p>Daniel Grabauskas, who took over in April as executive director of the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation, said he hasn't yet found the money to make those changes in the rail system, but has requested cost estimates from contractors.</p>
