<p>Early in the season, the Waianae-based canoe club relied on its children's crews to build leads that proved large enough to maintain and eventually win with. Lately, however, Ka Mo‘i's adults have stepped up, securing race victories late in the day, as was the case Sunday at the Na Ohana O Na Hui Wa‘a's Koa Kai Canoe Club Regatta at Keehi Lagoon.</p>
