<p>Early in the season, the Waianae-based canoe club relied on its children's crews to build leads that proved large enough to maintain and eventually win with. Lately, however, Ka Mo&lsquo;i's adults have stepped up, securing race victories late in the day, as was the case Sunday at the Na Ohana O Na Hui Wa&lsquo;a's Koa Kai Canoe Club Regatta at Keehi Lagoon.</p>
