It's a bad-news week for the Mountain West

~~<p>The past week was not a good one for one of the University of Hawaii's new sports homes, the Mountain West Conference.</p>
<p>Now, if you count Sunday as the end of a week and not the start, the MWC will say it concluded in fine fashion. That's because Fresno State, Hawaii (football only) and Nevada officially joined the league on the day of rest, which happened to be July 1.</p>
