PATCH will go extra mile to locate the best child care

~~<p>What a difference a generation makes. PATCH, a Hawaii nonprofit that helps match parents with child care services, has expanded
its Enhanced Referral service statewide, after the service's success with Hawaii's military community. The organization also
offers a wealth of other services to keep the pool of child care providers growing, trained and certified.</p>
<p>Hawaii has more two-career families per capita than anywhere else in the nation, and a survey of 1,467 Hawaii residents conducted
by PATCH in 2011 found that 80 percent of parents looking for child care referrals needed infant or toddler care, but often
were unable to find providers with vacancies.</p>
