Convenience store chain makes isle debut at 2 hotels

~~<p>A Japanese-based convenience store chain, with origins in northeastern Ohio, will open the first two of as many as 30 Oahu stores Saturday in Waikiki.</p>
<p>Lawson USA Hawaii Inc., a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Lawson Inc., has hired 50 local employees to staff its first two Lawson Station locations, a 2,107-square-foot store in the Sheraton Waikiki and a 663-square-foot store at the Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort &amp; Spa.</p>
