Police on watch for mo-peds on Pearl City bicycle path

~~<p>Question: Oftentimes I go running/biking along the Pearl City bicycle path. Lately I’ve noticed there are several mo-peds buzzing closely by people at high speeds. Based on the “no motorized vehicle” signs, I assume mo-peds aren’t allowed on the bike path. Is HPD doing anything to enforce this?</p>
<p>Answer: Officers have cited mo-ped drivers for violating Section 15-18.10 of the Revised Ordinances of Honolulu, which prohibits the use of any vehicle other than a bicycle without a motor (or those authorized) on a bike path, according to the Honolulu Police Department.</p>
