State electricity rates fall but remain nation's highest

~~<p>Residential electricity bills fell on all islands in July from June, the state's two power utilities reported Monday.</p>
<p>The rate for customers on Oahu declined to 34.7 cents a kilowatt-hour in July from 35.1 cents a kilowatt-hour in June, according to Hawaiian Electric Co. The July rate translates into a monthly bill of $216.85 for households using 600 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, down $1.75 from June.</p>
