Kauai gets first cancer radiation facility

~~<p>Kauai Oncology LLC opened the Garden Isle's first cancer radiation therapy facility in Lihue on Monday. The center, at 4388 Pahee St., expects to treat about 15 to 20 patients a day.</p>
<p>Before the facility was built by Unlimited Construction, Kauai's cancer patients had to fly to Oahu to receive radiation treatment.</p>
