U.S. House hopefuls gain endorsements

~~<p>Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has endorsed former Hono­lulu Mayor Mufi Hannemann in the race for Congress, while City Councilwoman Tulsi Gabbard picked up the nod from U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucin­ich.</p>
<p>"Mufi and I go back many years. I worked with Mufi and Sen. Akaka to help save Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. I worked with Mufi and Sen. Ino­uye on infrastructure funding and strengthening tourism across the country. We share goals for a better America," Reid, a Nevada Demo­crat, said Tuesday in a news release issued by the Hannemann campaign.</p>
