<p>Pepperdine sophomore Alina Ching (71—141) was the only Hawaii player to advance to match play at the 112th U.S. Women's Amateur golf tournament being played this week at The Country Club in Cleveland. Ching finished medal play in a tie for seventh Tuesday, five shots back of medalist Hyo-Joo Kim of Korea.</p>
