Actor smitten with Hawaii since 'Kiss'

A break from dramatic TV allowed Dave Annable to star in a movie filmed in the isles

<p>The New York actor was a regular on the ABC television drama “Brothers & Sisters,” starring as Justin Walker, an Army veteran of the war in Afghanistan suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome and drug addiction. The breakout role, which put him opposite Sally Field, Calista Flockhart and Rob Lowe, had earned Annable a Prism Award for his accurate depiction of substance abuse and mental health issues.</p>
