Actor smitten with Hawaii since 'Kiss'

A break from dramatic TV allowed Dave Annable to star in a movie filmed in the isles

~~<p>When he arrived in Hawaii in 2009 for a starring role in the romantic comedy &ldquo;You May Not Kiss the Bride,&rdquo; Dave Annable was looking for a bit of humor. It was understandable.</p>
<p>The New York actor was a regular on the ABC television drama &ldquo;Brothers &amp; Sisters,&rdquo; starring as Justin Walker, an Army veteran of the war in Afghanistan suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome and drug addiction. The breakout role, which put him opposite Sally Field, Calista Flockhart and Rob Lowe, had earned Annable a Prism Award for his accurate depiction of substance abuse and mental health issues.</p>
