Brennan is charged in DUI case

The prosecutor’s office decides not to pursue a count of drug possession

~~<p>Former University of Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan was charged Friday with drunken driving after he was pulled over by a police officer in Kailua in July.</p>
<p>Police arrested Brennan on July 25 for investigation of driving under the influence of alcohol and promoting a dangerous drug in the third degree, a class C felony. His blood-alcohol content was 0.17, more than twice the legal threshold of 0.08 for drunken driving. Brennan was released the following day pending investigation.</p>
