Fall flicks

~~<p>Comic-book superheroes may have ruled the summer but fall is traditionally a time for more serious film fare, as well as the usual bloody slate of horror offerings leading up to Halloween — “House at the End of the Street” with Jennifer Lawrence, “Paranormal Activity 4” and “Halloween 3D” to name three.</p>
<p>One of the most buzzed-about fall movies is Paul Thomas Anderson’s “The Master,” with Joaquin Phoenix and Philip Seymour Hoffman in a story supposedly based on the beginnings of Scientology.</p>
