~~<p><strong>Albert Pyun</strong>, a prolific Hawaii filmmaker on the indie scene for more than three decades, is creating a stir again with a B movie called "Road to Hell," starring <strong>Michael Paré</strong> ("Streets of Fire," "Eddie and the Cruisers"). The horror-rock opera just won best film honors at the Belfast Film Festival in Ireland. It also features <strong>Clare Kramer</strong> ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer" TV series) and <strong>Deborah Van Valkenburgh</strong> ("Warriors," "Streets of Fire").</p>

The buzz will be helpful as Pyun heads for the PollyGrind Film Festival in Las Vegas Oct. 17, sinceanother of his movies, "H.P. Lovecraft's Cool Air," will close the festival, and a third title, "Bulletface," screens midway in the Vegas fest. "Cool Air" also competes in a Spanish festival Monday.
