Monk seal in German TV spotlight

~~<p>An adult female Hawaiian monk seal garnered some international attention Saturday morning as she rested on Oahu's south shore.</p>
<p>Dirk Steffens, host of the German public television show &quot;Fascination Earth,&quot; shot footage of the seal for a television segment about monk seals. Steffens said he and his TV crew have been traveling the islands doing stories on the natural history of Hawaii.</p>
