>> UNLV senior linebacker John Lotulelei (Baldwin ’09) had a career-high 19 tackles, including 11 solo stops, in a 42-37 loss to Nevada on Saturday. 
 
>> Notre Dame senior linebacker Manti Te’o (Punahou ’09) made 11 tackles, and Robby Toma (Punahou ’09) had a 5-yard reception in a 20-13 overtime victory over Stanford on Saturday. 
 
>> Boise State safety Jeremy Ioane (Punahou ’10) made seven tackles and broke up a pass in a 20-10 win over Fresno State on Saturday. 
 
>> Oregon State defensive tackle Castro Masaniai (Waipahu ’07) had three tackles, including one for loss, and half a sack in a 42-24 win over Brigham Young on Saturday. Cougars tight end Kaneakua Friel (Kamehameha ’07) had three catches for 18 yards. 
 
>> California defensive tackle Aaron Tipoti (Word of Life ’08) assisted on two tackles in a 31-17 win over Washington State on Saturday. Cougars linebacker Cyrus Coen (Pearl City ’11) had six tackles, including 11&frasl;2 for loss, and an interception, and Chester Sua (Kaimuki ’11) assisted on a tackle. 
 
>> Wyoming linebacker Siaosi Hala‘api‘api (Kaimuki ’12) made six tackles in a 
28-27 loss to Air Force on Saturday. 
 
>> Colorado defensive end Juda Parker (Saint Louis ’11) made three solo tackles, and linebacker K.T. Tu‘umalo (Punahou ’11) recovered a fumble in a 51-17 loss to Arizona State last Thursday. 
 
>> Montana quarterback Trent McKinney (Mililani ’11) went 17-for-29 for 194 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 29 yards and a second touchdown in a 30-20 loss to Southern Utah on Saturday. 
 
>> Duquesne running back Ryan Ho (Kamehameha ’10) rushed for 78 yards on 19 carries and a touchdown and caught an 18-yard touchdown pass in a 38-31 loss to Central Connecticut on Saturday. 
 
>> Western Oregon quarterback Cody vonAppen (Kalaheo ’08) was 16-for-27 for 424 yards and four touchdowns and led the Wolves to a school-record 696 total yards in a 66-20 win over Dixie State on Saturday. Sophomore Trey Shimabukuro (Kauai ’11) threw a 22-yard touchdown pass and receiver Lucas Gonsalves (Saint Louis ’09) had three catches for 25 yards and returned four kickoffs for 74 yards. 
 
>> Chapman (Calif.) receiver Kali‘i Kunitomo (Konawaena ’09) had seven catches for 123 yards and two touchdowns, and Chase Tamashiro (Punahou ’12) assisted on a tackle in a 44-28 win over Occidental (Calif.) on Saturday. Tigers senior Casey Shibuya (Punahou ’09) had six tackles, including half a sack. 
 
>> Cornell (Iowa) College linebacker Geoffrey Miller (Punahou ’10) had 10 tackles in a 42-38 win over Knox (Ill.) College on Saturday. Miller ranks second in the Midwest Conference with 71 tackles. 
 
>> Southern Oregon senior Justin Otaguro (Roosevelt ’08) had four catches for 50 yards in a 65-34 win over Montana State-Northern on Saturday. 
 
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL 
 
>> Siena (N.Y.) junior Taylor Akana (Kamehameha ’10) was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference player of the week on Monday in leading the Saints to wins over Loyola and Rider. Akana had 22 kills and no errors in 39 swings with 11 digs against the Greyhounds and recorded her 13th double-double with 10 kills and 14 digs in the win over Rider. 
 
>> Washington (Mo.) senior Kelly Pang (‘Iolani ’09) was named the University Athletic Association defensive athlete of the week on Monday for the fifth time this season. Pang led the Bears to a 3-1 record at the second UAA Round Robin and recorded 47 digs in a five-set loss to Chicago on Saturday, breaking a single-match school record she previously held. She averaged 7.47 digs per match and tallied six assists and four aces. 
 
>> New Haven (Conn.) sophomore Kaulana Ane (Kamehameha-Maui ’11) was named the Northeast-10 women’s volleyball rookie of the week last Wednesday. Ane averaged 11.2 assists and 2.2 digs per set in three wins, hitting .310 with 1.40 kills per set. 
 
>> Washington State junior Maile Scarpino (‘Iolani ’09) had 11 digs and an assist in a four-set loss to Oregon State on Sunday. 
 
>> San Diego junior C’era Oliveira (Hawaii Baptist ’10) had a team-high 11 digs and two assists in a three-set sweep of Loyola Marymount on Saturday. 
 
>> St. John’s freshman Shawna-Lei Santos (Sacred Hearts ’12) had 10 digs, four kills and two aces in a four-set loss to Cincinnati on Sunday. 
 
>> Nevada senior Kelly Chang (Hawaii Baptist ’09) had 11 digs, four assists and two aces, and Elissa Ji (Maryknoll ’09) hit .500 with five kills, eight digs, a block assist and an ace in a five-set loss to Boise State on Saturday.
>> UTEP setter Malia Patterson (Punahou ’10) had a match-high 41 assists, 12 digs, two kills and an ace in a five-set loss to Tulsa on Friday. 
 
>> Saint Louis freshman Nicole Sniffen (Kamehameha ’11) hit .312 with six kills, a dig and a block assist in a three-set sweep of Charlotte on Sunday. 
 
>> Linfield (Ore.) sophomore outside Kailana Ritte-Camara (Molokai ’11) had a match-high 14 kills, 10 digs and three block assists and Leimomi Hookano (Sacred Hearts ’11) hit .273 with 13 kills in a four-set win over Lewis & Clark on Saturday. Freshman Courtney Uyeda (Moanalua ’12) had a match-high 26 digs and Christine Fujiki (Sacred Hearts ’10) had four digs and two aces for the Wildcats, while senior Leia Matsunaga (Kamehameha ’09) had 17 assists, 12 digs, two block assists and two kills and Brigitte Russo (Punahou ’11) finished with five kills, three digs and two block assists for the Pioneers. 
 
>> Claremont-Mudd-Scripps freshman setter Tanner Hoke (Punahou ’12) finished with 62 assists and 21 digs in two matches, helping CMS finish 1-1 in the Colorado College Invitational tournament over the weekend. 
 
>> Manhattan (N.Y.) College junior middle Juliana Behrens (Punahou ’10) hit .379 with a match-high 16 kills and three blocks, and sophomore outside Malia McGuinness (Maryknoll ’11) had 11 kills, eight digs and two aces in a win over Saint Peter’s on Saturday. 
 
>> Albany (N.Y.) setter Gabby Whitworth (Kalaheo ’09) compiled 47 assists and nine digs and hit .333 with four kills in a victory over New Hampshire on Friday.
