~~<p>A decade after his conviction for sexually assaulting a young girl multiple times, an Oahu man volunteered to help a boy's football team at a state-run high school even though he was listed on the state's registry of sex offenders.</p>
<p>The man assisted for nearly two seasons until the principal learned of his criminal record and dismissed him in 2011.</p>
