Married couple together 70 years

Sterling Cale was in the Navy and his bride Victoria was an Ewa girl when they married on Dec. 12, 1942

~~<p>At 91 years old, Sterling Cale still clearly recalls what he was doing on Dec. 7, 1941, when Japa&shy;nese forces attacked Pearl Harbor.</p>
<p>The Navy hospital corpsman was ready to go home after working night duty at the Naval Shipyard Dispensary when he looked toward the harbor and saw Japa&shy;nese planes flying in.</p>
