Imperial Palace officially gives way to The Quad

~~<p>Announced back in September, the official name change from the Imperial Palace to The Quad took place last week in Las Vegas.</p>
<p>Concurrent with the change, renovations are under way that will eventually encompass improvements to the exterior facade, porte-cochere, front desk, bell desk, lobby, casino floor, retail promenade and dining levels of the resort. All work is scheduled to be completed by late 2013. The Quad will be the anchor casino for the Linq retail project opening next year at center Strip.</p>
