~~<p>Kauai police are asking the public for tips on who damaged the chair lift for people with disabilities at the Wai&shy;mea public swimming pool.</p>
<p>When pool staff returned from the New Year's break, they found the entire chair lift ripped off its platform and thrown into the pool, a county news release said.</p>
