Kauai condo sale hits record

~~<p>Condominium prices on Kauai still have a long way to go to break the record median set in 2007, but a new top price was recently set for a unit on the Garden Isle.</p>
<p>The developer of the Koloa Landing at Poipu Beach condo project announced Tuesday that it sold a 3,675-square-foot penthouse unit for $3.3 million on Dec. 28. The price topped a prior record of $3.2 million for a penthouse at the same project in 2010.</p>
