Scam artist sentenced to prison
The woman must also repay her victims the nearly $800,000 she took from them

~~<p>A 38-year-old Kahu­lui woman who swindled six Maui residents out of nearly $800,000 is going to federal prison for at least a year for sending some of the money to the mainland.</p>
<p>U.S. District Judge J. Michael Seabright sentenced Jedi­dah Dua­ro­san on Thursday to 27 months in prison for interstate transport of stolen property. Seabright also ordered Dua­ro­san to repay her victims the $749,925 she took from them.</p>
